quiet environment, convenient freeway access, proximity to better hotels
Renovation mess everywhere!!! Construction debris left in public areas with no safety measures!!! Large hole in courtyard, broken windows, and poorly functioning facilities!!! Hallways in dire need of repairs!!! Creepy, broken entrances!!!

missingWrote a review on Oct 28comfortable bedlimited amenities
The hotel was quiet since only a few
rooms were available to guests. The room was clean, and the bed was comfortable. However, limited amenities left something to be desired, making it more suited for a quick stop than an extended stay.

after arriving, I was greeted by a messy lobby and no lighted sign, absolutley a horror show. oh and the fridge? utter rubbish, sounded like a dying animal. I anticipated a room upgrade for these inconveniences, but apparently that’s too much to ask at this disgraceful establishment. I almost considered a good review, but just couldn’t.

The room had a cozy corner with an armchair perfect for curling up with a book. The beds were incredibly comfortable, ensuring a relaxing night’s sleep for my family. The amenities in the room were exactly what we needed, including a coffee maker and a hair dryer, making our stay convenient.
Minor issues with lack of toiletries.

The bed was so comfortable! Definitely the best part of my stay. Just wish I had more toilet paper for the room and that breakfast was included. 😅

Checked into Motel 6 Pecos, which used to be a Quality Inn. The remodeling is noticeable but still very much in progress. The room had a distinct smell from the fresh paint, which was a bit overwhelming. I liked the fridge and the decent bed, but the lack of basic amenities really stood out. No toiletries except for a single bar of soap, and the furniture had seen better days with a broken chair. On the positive side, the internet connection worked well. It wasn't exactly the restful stay I hoped for, and I had to reach out to customer service for assistance after feeling uncomfortable for an hour. They were responsive and helped me find a better option nearby. Definitely needs a lot of work before it's up to standard.

clean room but lacking essentials
The room was clean, and the bed offered a good night's sleep. The quiet atmosphere was appreciated, especially with just a few guests in the hotel. I found the refrigerator useful during my stay, which allowed me to keep snacks and drinks cold.
However, I noticed there were very few toiletries available, which impacted the overall experience.

good location but disappointing amenities
The proximity to the Interstate made it easy to access my travel route. Breakfast arrangements at a nearby motel offered a decent selection, which was appreciated. The Queen Room with two queen beds had ample space for a solo traveler to unwind.
The lack of basic toiletries was noticeable.
